Meet the team!
Our team is dedicated to providing engaging skills-based provision.
Our Story
Reach opened its doors in August 2022 with the sole objective of offering people with a learning and or physical disability the opportunity to engage in meaningful activities and projects following social enterprise values. All the activities that we do are catered around developing individuals’ skills that not only encourage independence but also offer an idea of work and occupational skill-based environments.
Our mission statement is simple, we strive to deliver the highest quality, dignified and affordable provisions of the daytime, evening, and weekend activities for adults with a learning disability who wish to engage in meaningful activities.
We believe that individuals of any age have a right to remain or strive for independence and have access to services that offer work and employment-based activities in an environment that suits the services offered. This kind of service would naturally encourage their existing skills to assist them in day-to-day living while being engaged in meaningful activities - enjoying themselves and continuing their passions and interests.
The end measurable result could even mean an individual who accesses the service could move into a mainstream work environment. We would support a person through their journey including any work-related opportunities.
The service operates 6 days a week from 9am to 330-pm with flexible hours on a Tuesday and Thursday between 9am and 9pm and 11am to 4pm on a Saturday. The sessions offered are for 6-hour blocks. Except for a Saturday, this will be for a 5-hour block.
